Artists at work

We have now completed our wonderful whale art work.  Come and have a look at our finished master pieces up on the wall.

To make our art work we first practised drawing a variety of whales using our white boards.  Then we drew one on a piece of paper and painted it.  The background was made using tissue paper.  What do you think?

Special Good Bye

On Friday we said a special good bye to our lovely friend Abe.  His family are moving back to Auckland.  We will miss you Abe!

We sent Abe and James on a 'wild goose chase' in the morning to find some 'rainbow' paint while we made some things for Abe. Thanks for the lollipops Abe!

Welcome Back

Hello Room 14

I hope you have all had a super holiday. I am really looking forward to seeing you all on Monday.  One of the highlights of my holiday was going to Lake Brunner with my family Paul, Grace 9, and Lily 6. My step son Josh 19 and Emily 17 couldn't come as Emily had to work and Josh had go to University. Here is a photo of us in Shantytown after having a ride on the steam train.  It was a lot of fun!

I can't wait to hear all about your holiday adventures too.
